A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Shawn has been teaching group fitness classes for over 25 years. Shawn loves yoga and probably her favorite part is seeing her clients become more flexible. Shawn gets excited when showing new students how to properly do their poses while keeping the “seasoned yogies sweating.

WHY I LOVE DOING WHAT I DO

I love teaching and will plan to teach until I die. Staying active is key in keeping your mind and body healthy.

Why I love doing what I do…I teach because I enjoy meeting new people who in turn become my friends. I want to develop a group of people that become  healthier because of their practice. I am passionate about connecting with people and how yoga helps them understand themselves better. I always love when I hear, “Wow, this is a lot harder than I thought.” Or when clients cannot touch the ground and when they experience their first touch of the floor while doing a Forward Bend. To me that is exciting and I love when people grow into their yoga practice. Yoga is more than a great workout, it is a way of life.
